We wanted to be true to the season and use red, white and blue to celebrate this July birthday - but to ensure a summer feel we added in bright yellow sunflowers and red and white picnic print. Although this was a party for a one-year old, most of the guests were adults so we wanted to make sure the meal was yummy so we served a refined picnic including fried chicken and gourmet potato salad.

For favors we created red, white and blue goody bags for the kids including popcorn balls and star stickers as well as make your own candy grab bags. We set up candy store-esque jars with all kinds of candy in shades of red, white and blue!
